Seems like they already have a vet PG for Scoot, but appreciate the thought.
I think Brog would be a great PG vet to add to the team.. Reasonable cost and priced right!
check out this trade! Just replace Celts with Portland in your head..
we get a decent vet PG for Wemby, someone who can actually shoot the three (44% from three last year) and Portland gets a first, a young prospect in Wesley and a backup vet PG for Scoot!

Who? Brogdon? Reports are already out they are keeping Time Lord and sending Brog onward to another team.
Probably costs a better 1st than that and whether you're in favor of it or not, it is a trade that makes sense for both teams.
He's pretty much an ideal fit (central casting Spur, though an occasional malcontent) because he's a combo guard, as comfortable playing off ball as on and he can bring stability without smothering the youth.
Wait... Wesley is 6' 5"? Watching him, I always thought he was shorter.
He's 6'3'' barefoot (the height they supposedly list them in the last few years), with no mention of a growth spurt.

That's why I always say, don't rely on NBA listings for height, weight, position, etc. because they're often either outdated or were never right to begin with.
I'd take him for the Charlotte pick plus seven of our 36 second round picks tbh
Good call in that case.
Not trashing the idea but Wesley has little to no value for the rest of the NBA. Or a negative one. Not sure Birch and Graham make a lot of sense for POR either. Not more then they really make for us actually. Ironically, they're mostly trade material.
I think Wesley would interest Portland more than most teams, however I wouldn't do this trade for Brogdon. I don't see the difference from Graham to Brogdon being worth much. I don't hate it or anything, I just think there will be better uses for our draft capital down the line.
Brogdan is only important to a gritty team like the Bucks or maybe the Pels. We have zero to gain from this guy.
Also, the trade package initially proposed is ridiculous.
I do this in a heartbeat if I am the Spurs, but I don't know why Portland does.
A lot of people think Portland only gets expirings and a couple seconds for Brog (in any clippers packages for example), so our package would be just slightly above that hopefully and no more.
Don't see a reason to give future asset for Brogdon but what about jumping in as a third team in a Brogdon trade?

I don't see why New Orleans does this trade. Jonas is very good for them
People still don't get that they want Sochan to play PG a lot.
People still don't get that the only trades they'll make this year are for salary and INCOMING assets. I think they'll move Cedi and Devonte for salary and assets at or before the deadline.
There was a trade in place where he'd have been sent to the Clippers for the 30th pick in the past draft, and the Clippers backed out because of his health status. Brogdon will likely command 3/4 2nd rounders + filler, unless Portland plays him and raises his value again, or a team aspiring to the playoffs gets desperate enough to overpay.
Brogdon got hurt and will be out 5 weeks just reading this post
Graham and Birch for Brogdon works in the trade machine. Then maybe 2 second round picks?
They wanted 4 FRPs for Jrue. They ain't taking out our trash and accepting 2 SRPs for Brogdon.
