Pop’s coaching tree keeps growing.
Well deserved.
Becky is proving she is a great coach and deserves a spot in the NBA![]()
Pop’s coaching tree keeps growing.
A lot better coach than she was a player.
I’ve always thought of her as the female version of Manu. That rare compe ive spirit that gave everything to win a game.
Congratulations Becky. It’s just sad that despite the bball mind that she has to win back-to-back championships, majority of NBA GM’s will still see her as a female coach instead of just a coach without regards to her sexuality. Surely she has better bball mind than half of the coaches in the NBA
That was a great win for the Aces. I’m proud of our former franchise and hall of famer going back to back
And she wouldn't have to worry about trading pregnant NBA players.
Incredible.
Sydney Colson only registered 2 pts, 1 assist, & 5 fouls in 15 minutes while replacing the injured Chelsea Gray, but still somehow put up a +17 for the game after averaging like 5 mpg all season-- such a cool example of next (wo)man up in the playoffs.
I love Breanna Stewart, but the A'ja/Stewie battle this time was pretty reminiscent of the Olajuwon/Robinson one in the 90s.
More than 50% of Becky's team's shots this season were 3pt attempts, while their leading scorer A'ja barely shot any. She's definitely a coach who has adapted to the modern game.
Definitely adds to Pop's legacy.
Congrats to her for her back2back championships but lets be real; how many of you dudes follow the wnba, watch their games, and attend their games?![]()
Congrats to Becky and the Aces![]()
Congratulations to champion Coach Becky!
A San Antonio favorite and a Spurs legend with the Spurs 2015 Summer League Championship leadership.
Becky Hammon can coach basketball.
At winning with a supposed stacked team (granted, they apparently had some injuries in the Finals) = being a "great" coach; whatever that means.
I lost all respect for her when she refused to take a knee during the anthem in the "bubble". She's also become increasingly arrogant in recent years.
