What's up with that Super Sonic theme logo for the Spurs![]()
Anyway, KAT and ANT about to run train on our team.
*edit* Oops I forgot the "at" in the subject le. This game thread is already cursed.

Yea,hopefully spurs dont get their heads kicked in tonight
I still don't get this in season tournament. And looks like most of the players don't either and are just going with it. Silver turning the league into NBE
I think they bounce back tonight for the home fans. It’s a tall order against the 3rd best team in the West, but Pop’s team always seem to play better against better opponents when you least expect it. GSG!![]()
im usually able to edit thread les on threads ive made. its not through the regular "edit" feature. but go to the forum home page and double click directly next to the thread le, and sometimes it'll let you adjust the text right there
Would be nice if they kept it under 20 tbh![]()
This game could get ugly as well, Minnesota with the number 1 defense so far, Spurs can't rebound worth a either, wouldn't be surprised with a 20 board game from Gobert. Hopefully this team just competes.
It's the Tower of the Americas
ant man will dump 40 on us. gobert and KAT will swallow up Wemby. spurs will give up close to 20 threes again. wolves by 16. ST will implode.
hope i'm completely wrong.
Ant is a monster, and his shooting figures are great to start the season. if this holds up, dont know if we've seen that combination of strength + shooting ability before. talk about a true pick your poison type of player. and his passing has gotten a lot better
I'm not worried, Keldon will guard him![]()
Spurs injuries: Charle Bediako – Out (G League,) Sidy Cissoko – Out (G League,) Sir’Jabari Rice – Out (G League)
Timberwolves injuries: Jaylen Clark – Out (right achilles,) Luka Garza – Out (G League,) Jordan McLaughlin – Out (right MCL,) Leonard Miller – Out (G League,) Wendell Moore Jr. – Out (G League)
Both clubs in full strength. Not having Devin put a toll on Spurs offense and played catching up which was easily demoralizing to a young team. With Devin back, I hope that they can start quick and the home crowd can cheer them back. I’m hoping for Keldon to carry the crowd as he always does, Wemby to bounce back from the horrid shooting from the previous game. Sochan will have a handful slowing down Anthony Edwards but I’m hoping he’s up for the challenge. Again Pop’s team has always performed well against better opponents. I’m hoping it’s the same tonight. GSG!
Gobert/Towns still seems awkward. towns has struggled on both ends playing out on the perimeter. but man, having wings like Edwards/McDaniels is ing nice.
honestly, right now it seems like the opponent doesn't really matter. We'll lose to everyone in the NBA the way we have played the last 2 games.
I'm not sure what to expect. I just hope we can find a way to execute.
it's only been eight games but from the early sample size, the spurs are struggling with bigger lineups. spurs have also lost to opponents who have a combined record of 20-13 so they have been playing some respectable teams. with the exception of phoenix, the spurs are significantly worse on the road.
How many offensive boards are we gonna give up?
probably gonna start like 13 - 2 early in the 1st
Typical of young teams.
don't really remember a lot of takes this off-season saying "I'm giving pop 8 games to turn Wemby + a tank into the Harlem Barcelona 92 Dream Team Globetrotters or else..." but here we are
We are gonna get lit up ain't we....
Hopefully not.
nah but there were a lot of people frustrated with this team being composed of wemby + a tank
Players on teams that get out of the group stage get paid, escalating each stage they advance:
