The Spurs will liven up the next draft. They will have 1, 2 or even 3 picks in the first round.

    1-Spurs pick
    2- Hornets pick : Prot. 1-14
    3-Raptors :
    Prot. 1-6

This will evolve a lot during the season, but as of November 11, here is what it looks like:

The NCAA has just resumed this week, and the 2 players who had the best debuts are Isaiah Collier and Ja'Kobe Walter

In all honesty, do we suspect Spurs to select 2, plus bring in a free agent with our cap room?

The Hornets pick is going to be hard to get, but it's possible, the season has just started. In reality, they have good players, they especially need to change coaches, and of course, they have no injuries. But up front, the Heat, the Knicks, the Magic are possible to pick them up and go ahead....

So much movement with our options even after only 2 weeks. After our first loss, spun the wheel on Tankathon and ended up 1,7,15 - picking Buzelis, Castle and Procter. At the time I thought that was a pretty nice haul of talent . Two weeks later, realizing Tankathon doesnt even have the guy I now want on their board (Topic). That Toronto pick is looking more like 17 than 7; but it looks like our team will finish bottom 5, so hopefully we'll get another foundational piece there. We'll draft best available but it will probably be our point guard with our pick, I'm hoping Topic but Collier would be nice. Then grab a dude who can play some D with the Raptors pick, maybe Cody Williams.

Steve Clifford coached two of the tiest franchises of the last two decades, Charlotte and Orlando, for a total of 9 years. He made the playoffs 4 times. He is NOT the problem.

Tankathon currently has the Spurs at #1 in the Draft Power Ratings with the predicted picks of 5, 11, 37, 40.

I certainly do not expect the CHA pick to convey, but if it somehow did… I see no way we keep all 3 picks… but then again, most of us didn’t think we use 3 FRPs a few years ago either.

We could also have 3 FRPs in 2025.

Yep, hoping the FO feels some sense of urgency on reshuffling them before we get caught in a must-sell position and lose leverage because other teams will be aware of this.

With that said, certainly there is a non-zero chance of many of these picks no conveying. Right now, I’d handicap it as below in terms of odds the pick does not convey.

    CHA - 80%
    CHI - 40%
    TOR - 15%

I really want that Raps pick to be top ten. But they look scrappy, and play with heart. Might go .500

Bridges is about to come back. They will be a much better team. Good enough? Maybe not, but it will be close.
