We need to acquire Desagana Diop, not the Lynches of the league
lets trade Rasho for Diop
Only because I am imagining the MB/timvp followups when they read this:
LinkUnemployment line
How's this for a Celtics alumni team: Curtis Borchardt, Rodney Rogers, Tom Gugliotta, Qyntel Woods, and Erick Strickland? What do they have in common? They're all unsigned free agents, although Borchardt may have landed a job overseas. There are more attractive names out there, such as Christian Laettner, Latrell Sprewell, and George Lynch. Another reason they may still be looking for work: the number of open roster spots. Agent Steve Kauffman, who represents Lynch, said there are only nine roster openings in the entire league, two of them on the Spurs. ''You may start to see some movement when contracts need to be guaranteed [next month] but, right now, teams are reluctant to go sign free agents if it means cutting the kid who made the team in training camp," Kauffman said. Another possible issue: money. There's a shocker. Sprewell's agent has made it clear that his client, who turned down a $21 million extension from Minnesota, won't lower himself to play for the veteran minimum of around $1 million. That would, however, feed Spree's family.

Diop is a ing scrub. He's not as good as Rasho OR Nazr.
can we trade Rasho for Zo Mourning?
just asking. fire away...
He won't "lower" himself to play for the minimum. What an ass....
That would, however, feed Spree's family.
I like Diop, I think he'll be another Mutombo in future years.... but he's as of RIGHT NOW, not better than Nazr or Rasho..
maybe in a few years.
The way Nazr has been playing this year I would have to say Diop is better right now.
Yeah cause Diop is such the stud.....
didnt Nazr put 10 and 5 up on Diop the other night?
Yeah but diop is a stud on defense. A great shotblocker. Mohammad is nowhere the defensive player as Diop
You're forgiven for your lack of perspective, having had to watch the putrid
Shawn Bradley in the post. That would make anyone look like the next ing Wilt.
Nazr is putting up 4.6p/3.6r in 12 minutes
Gana is putting up 2.6p/5.1r in 18 minutes
Nazr has the edge in FT shooting, Gana in blocks.
So he's kind of a poor man's Foyle?
And it's true.
I don't know what game your watching but Diop is a blocking machine. Alot of people think he should be starting rather than Damp.
22%. Nice.Steve Kauffman, who represents Lynch, said there are only nine roster openings in the entire league, two of them on the Spurs.
Good to know Holt is rich and getting richer.
Isn't that what he's supposed to be doing?
Kinda like the Warriors with Foyle, huh?
I know. ing A=hole... look at the we get because of Holt.
13-3... ing Holt.
Don't we all want to be 'rich'??
Nice to know that the Spurs are balking at adding some depth because of the all too unaffordable league minimum salary.
