Zollins and Bran were combined 2-16 at one point

Not going to win much with that kind of night

Team still making young rookie mistakes. Only thing that fixes that is time and repe ion. Learning teammates tendencies and finding them in their spots. Chemistry takes time.

Saw wemby get a mismatch on Curry in the paint and could not exploit

Same thing happened against LAC with Mann granted Mann is a little taller than Curry.

Wemby needs time to learn how to abuse his size advantage more consistently.

Wemby clearly still struggling with conditioning endurance and stamina with the pace of the game.

That also takes time and development.

Time. Time is what this team needs to progress. That's not gonna happen in a mere dozen games.

Patience. Patience is what fans of this team need to see success.

I was scared we could win this game. Ouf !

The road to a FR pick in the 1 to 5 range in the next draft is tricky, lots of compe ion.
We have to have long losing streaks to get there. I believe.

You do realize the game exists around the person with the ball, and it's not like each player is paid only to make shots.

Wrote about it weeks ago, but now it's just getting worse.

For some reason Zach Collins of all people has the ultimate green light to let it fly from deep.
He attempts four ing threes per game in less than 30mpg!
Those are Brook Lopez numbers, ffs.

    27% for the season.
What's even worse, if we take away two games when he got hot and shot 6/8 combined, he's 12/58 in other 14 games.
    Good enough for 20%.

Collins taking so many threes experiment has been as bad as Sochan at the point experiment.
Pop needs to ing get over himself and stop telling his players to do something they're not comfortable with.
None of them will become star players, so the best thing he can get out of them is making them servicable role players.

-6 with the ball 14 seconds left and a very outside chance to win by:
    1. Hit a trey! This 1st one HAS to be attempted. If you brick, whatever you gave it a try.
    2. Foul on the inbounds and hope the gots miss, Or get miracle steal.
    3. Hit another trey.

Aren't teams supposed to try and win?

KJ has the ball and can shoot a contested trey but instead dribbles in for the stat padding duece as the clock goes down to 9, 8, 7

TF was the point of a two pointer at that point in the games ending?

    Earlier;
With 55 seconds left just after the mini miracle turn of events, that being a 4 point which trimmed the score to 110-106,- 4 point deficit!
KJ had hit a 2+1 and Saric got a tech for dissing Wemby.
So , just get a 2 pointer to pull within 2 and completely put the pressure on Golden.
Nope, KJ with a 27 foot trey chuck attempt at the 37 second mark.

No way this phuck gets a A from me for the game.

Why did the spurs sign Doug McDermott?

The Spurs’ only reason for signing McDermott was his 3 pt shooting. As you know.

The point to be taken from that is Keldon is a moron.

Look at the first Warriors possession of the game. Keldon missed a simple switch that was right in front of his face. The man he failed to guard went unopposed to the basket for the Warriors’ first bucket.

Go later in the game. Transition, the Spurs moving back on defense. Keldon was backpedaling. A Warrior went running, hard, right by him. No reaction from Keldon. That Warrior beat the whole defense back, and caught a pass for a layup.

Keldon isn’t lazy, far from it. He hustles, he plays hard. It just didn’t seem to occur to him that getting back quickly on defense mattered, or that a problem could arise if opponents went running right by him.

Somebody should drill a hole in Keldon’s skull, get a funnel, and pour in more brain cells. Any brain cell donor would do. Cow, horse, anteater, anything at all.

His lack of ball-handling ability was definitely a hindrance. His court vision was cloudy, to put it kindly.

Real words that were written in grading a starting PG, yet still yielded a B (very similar to the last game, where there was fundamental deficiency pointed out, but you guessed it... B).

Minus Wemby - Asking a group of role players to do things they have neither the IQ nor skill to do is not their fault.

Not sure how much more “experimenting” needs to be done. At some point they need to have a few wins along the way to keep the players happy and buying in.

That's going to be the name of the game really soon, if it isn't already. Nobody's left from our le days. If we don't start pulling out wins, these guys WILL start mentally checking out. It's the whole gone fishin' mentally, except it's during the regular season. LAST thing you want is Wemby checking out already, too.

Devin Vassell is the spurs best bet on picking up that scoring slack. Wss wondering why he was coming off the bench. Mins restrictions can happen while you start as well so not sure what pops aiming for. So far hes achieved slow starts and Brenan confidence.taking a hit. Devin looking the best ever as a spur this season. their most polished scorer to complement Wemby. Coming off :the bench he cant help as much
