There probably won't be many more people than that at the Saints game on Dec 24.

I'll be there, but you're probably right... but SA sold 58k in two weeks for the first game and then sold out the Dome for the Falcons.

    Seeing how it's a Christmas Eve, I wouldn't expect a huge turnout.

The public didn't buy all those tickets.

The (low) sales of tickets in S.A. to me has been disappointing.
The (low) sales of tickets in Louisiana to me has been expected.

For the first game no, 8k were donated, but hey, we only had 2 weeks notice to buy tickets.

The next game was a sellout without donated tickets.

Also, 2,000 of the 34k for yesterdays game were bought up and donated within the last few days.

The (low) sales of tickets in S.A. to me has been disappointing.
    Why?

The only disappointing game ticket sales wise is the Xmas Eve game.

The (low) sales of tickets in Louisiana to me has been expected.
Really? Then why did the first game have such a big turnout compared to the two following?

You'd think if they cared or wanted the team there that much, they'd buy the tickets.

Do you think Lousiana is not affected as a whole by New Orleans?

Arkansas, my state has an estimate of 2.7m people. Mississippi 2.9m, and Louisana 4.5m. And Texas is a whopping 22.5m!

So, you think in a state with combined states around it not including Texas who seems to like the Saints already having two teams with a population of 10.1 versus 22.5 makes zero difference?

Look at the big picture man, and everything around it. Arkansans are Cowboys fans mostly too. And Mississippi I have no idea.

Lousiana is a disaster. And that's why LSU was pretty awesome doing as good as they have.

My guess was about 40,000. My guess for the BR game on 1 January is about 25,000.

The Saints attendance is going to suck until they (Tags, Benson, owners group) pick a location to play games, NOT several. If they split the schedule next year, it will be a marketing disaster.

I'm fed up with the NFL. Could anyone destroy goodwill as fast as Tags?

Also, that extra home game the Giants had doesn't affect the integrity of the game, not.

Maybe if they chose a smaller venue, the crowd would look more full.

Oh well. The Lions had a nice stadium also...the fans rooted for Minnesota. Multiple "Fire Millen" signs, a "Hire Dumars" sign, a fan was tackled and I am guessing removed for running around the stadium with a "Fire Millen" sign. It was beautiful. And the topper...fans were chanting "We want Joey, We want Joey", after they couldn't say "FIRE MILLEN, FIRE MILLEN" anymore.
