They played all those games for decades. Have better sports medication and training and you think these athletes are not man enough to play all regular season games and playoffs ?

That's why players have 20 year careers now instead of 12. The fact that they are making record money is more the reason to protect them so that they can keep generating money for the league for years to come.
Start the season 2 weeks earlier and eliminate back-to-backs.
The purpose of load management has always been to have rested players as the season proceeds (less so to avoid injury).
