Including and foremost how do you think he did in the 2024 Finals loss to the Celtics?

I'll go with above average.

Not happy with his Finals performance, including having Hardaway Jr. touch the floor in anything other then scrub minutes in pivital Game 2s loss. (Hardaway 19 minutes 0-5 / 0-3 with his signature lazy defense)

But Celtics had a better roster and plan and help from CelticRef in many key points. So don't think Kidd could have overcome.

He's ok. Most coaches are ok. How does whatever belief system they espouse fit with the franchise's financial and compe ive plans? that's the kicker. Then there's the problem of losing the locker room ears because you're a broken record and they don't believe in you or they are all losers the last coach/FO collected.
