One way or the other he is out of here. No question about it. Hopefully hes traded though..
24-25:.12,650,000
2,850,000 guaranteed
Becomes fully guaranteed on July 1
Do the Spurs keep him to hit the floor, use in trades, use as a vet who played decently when allowed?
Or is he cut for the cap room?

probably gets traded. it will be an eventful week, for sure. Too many assets.
Keeping Graham to hit the floor isn't necessary.
If Spurs waive Graham and Bassey (and keep Champagnie), they will be $5.4M below the floor with 12 players under contract. Going over the floor won't be an issue at all.
Graham will be cut or traded. Theoretically, Spurs might keep him to have his expiring contract as a trading asset at the 2025 trade deadline but spending $9.8M and 1 roster spot just for that seems highly unlikely.
The watch continues
I will not be shocked if they bring him back.
"We like what we have. He's a pro, helps us a lot. Doesn't boo at sporting events."
Bumped a week so they can maybe trade him. Non issue, unless you're a wrist cutter.
That the Spurs pushed back his guarantee date implies the team is looking to trade him. Now whether they intend to trade him as part of a package to get someone or trade him into cap space to save money, we don't know. Either scenario is good for those who want the Spurs to be more active this summer. A Spurs team willing to give up an asset for cap space is one that expects to use that space and potentially get something worth more than the second or cash they're giving up. As I've said many times before, trading the salary away would just be good business.
That said, he's the best fit with Castle on the entire roster. Jones/Vassell and Castle/Graham make a lot of sense as the guard rotation this season. But the Spurs hate Graham, so I don't think they care about that at all. In a just world, Graham would've gotten a chance to prove himself in the rotation last year, and we'd know a lot more about how he could fit in with Castle now. As it is, I wonder what he's thinking about in terms of his future. He seemingly agreed to alter the guarantee date without getting his compensation bumped up. For a depth guy like Graham, he may miss the window to get salary above the min from his next team. Either he thinks he might be able to get his salary guaranteed by SA or another team, or he has an idea of a team that might want him once he's out of this contract.
I expect a fascinating trade getting back a second round pick from a team that might implode in 2033.
I find this to be the most fascinating piece of the puzzle right now. If this ~13m contract can be turned into an up to ~20m one, it should help narrow the list of trade targets this summer. Then layer on the teams that need cap relief and that should narrow things more (Milwaukee, Miami, New York, Phoenix, Golden State, LA teams, Denver, Minnesota).
Applying these parameters:
- KCP was a target but that changed the moment he opted out of his deal.
- Lopez seems interesting, but what asset would MIL send back?
- could Duncan Robinson be a target now that he has one less year on his deal?
Shooting in the ~20M range to consider with the Graham contract:
MIA: Robinson (19M)
ATL: Hunter (21M)
ATL: Bobdonavic (17M)
SAC: Huerter (17M)
BKY: Johnson (23M)
Trash Contracts that could moved for assets:
CHI: Lonzo Ball (21M)
