one of the best Salaun takes on this forum tbh
(My 14-year-old daughter saw me working on my Big Board and wanted to know if she could make her own Big Board. She watched every second of every Spurs game with me this season and even joins me sometimes when I'm watching draft film. I gave her the 13 names and gave her access to the scouting film for each player. She hasn't looked at a mock draft or listened to any draft commentary -- so she's free from groupthink and mock draft brain rot. This is her Big Board, presented without edits.)
1. Devin Carter
Carter can do a little bit of everything, however he is really good at shooting tough 3’s. He likes to steal the ball by intercepting passes or having quick hands. He is very fast.
2. Dalton Knecht
Knecht can shoot the ball very well from the 3 point line and mid range. Also, he can drive and do good layups and dunks, and has good off-ball movement.
3. Cody Williams
Williams can drive into the paint very well. He also has a good hook-like shot when he is in mid range and he can shoot 3 balls pretty well.
4. Stephon Castle
Castle is a very good defender and can steal the ball. Also he can contest shoots or block them.
5. Nikola Topic
Topic can drive very well and is very good on fast breaks. He is also good at ball movement.
6. Ron Holland
Holland is pretty good at stealing the ball and driving. He can shoot 3 balls, however he is better when he drives in closer.
7. Reed Sheppard
Sheppard can shoot very well and can drive. He can also be a good passer and can get assists.
8. Rob Dillingham
Dillingham can shoot 3’s well and is good at driving. He's also good at drawing fouls and and-ones.
9. Donovan Clingan
This tall man can box out quite well. He can be very good at rim defense and blocking or contesting shots.
10. Zaccharie Risacher
Risacher is a very good 3 point shooter and he can also drive, but he prefers shooting from afar a bit more that driving for a layup. And he can also dunk pretty well on fast breaks.
11. Matas Buzelis
Buzelis has good ball handling for being tall and can get creative when he tries to score.
12. Alexandre Sarr
Sarr can dunk and block pretty well. And he's athletic for being 7 feet tall.
13. Tidjane Salaun
Salaun can shoot pretty well. That's about it.
(I guess she's on the anti-Salaun bandwagon)
(I have about two years before I'm obsolete, tbh)

Was about to say that I hope PATFO share her views on Salaun tbh![]()
I’m pretty sure many guys here will be surprised by Salaun, the kid will be fine
Awesome! Probably more accurate than anything you'll find here or ESPN
Thank god she’s not the GM.
But very cute.
She's already smarter than many on these boards.![]()
I like the part about being free from groupthink. That’s what we need more than anything right now.
Based on the Houston news this morning there is now a much better chance that Reed is available for the pick at 4. Sheppard fans got a boost with this news that Houston is going after KD. So there’s a better chance that Reed is available. If I had to bet money, I would still bet Castle and Carter, but now there’s a somewhat of a chance for Reed at 4
In this draft, she's as likely to be correct as anybody here..
I'm sold, let's draft Carter imo.
I really hope Brian Wright has the same scouting report on Salaun.
I'm assuming she is Spurs-biased, which this makes sense! Honestly from day 1 Kinect/Carter combo would likely help the Spurs the most as currently constructed. Besides Sarr/Dillingham combo, I would absolutely love Kinect/Carter combo as well. Covers all the basis as Carter can shoot, defend, play PG, and compliments Vassell well. Kinect can score and shoot to compliment Sochan. She's solved the Puzzle!
Haha she did great can’t make an argument on her being wrong and would give her an A+ - Love she had Little Dilly at 8 and Salome at 13 as the tape does not lie no matter what age you are.
Love it - my son just asks who Im rooting for and then immediately says “go other team” lmao
The most interesting tidbit for me is that her top 2 are the oldest players on the list. She's in bered by the "upside" that drives really good prospects down the list.
the heir apparent to running ST in the future. nice job.
Very cute. My daughter plays assistant GM with me for her softball team. fun bonding. whereas my son just says 'Spurs suck'... and my wife's like 'whens this draft bull gonna be over.' Carter / Knecht I'm a big fan so why not.
Watch Carter become the best player in this draft, tbh.
