Considering they split the groups based on records I sure af hope not.

This is the stupidest thing the NBA has come up with I guess they had to try something as the All Star week is pretty much unwatchable
not that this cup matters, but Jazz, Lakers and Suns are all pretty beatable. Utah is tanking and the other 2 are dumpster fires.
I might actually get excited about the IST this year. Maybe. At least whooping some Laker ass.

I don't mind the Cup. Just don't do those courts again tbh.
If they were smart, they wouldn’t do courts at all, just project an image of the cup to a location on each side of the court. They do that with sponsor logos already.

East Group A ORL NYK PHI could be tough
East Group B MIL IND MIA could be tough
West Group C potentially a doozy with DAL, MEM, DEN, NOLA
Yeah I hated having a reason to be excited about the NBA before January. Why can't we have our boring meaningless games back?
