Plastic in food and water

Or are you like -phuck it, "plastic is in everything now so why bother"?

Drinking water. Looking to upgrade / update my filtering system. What a storm in much of the US. I'm ditching clear plastic water bottles and am going with a glass container mug.

Food. Some studies suggest if you microwave plastic you are getting all kinds of BPAs and other chit.
