Inability to control the cartels and the border.
Why not just annex Mexico.
1. Stop the illegal drug trade. The $$$$$ proceeds would be enormous.
2. Shore up the border. Not only coming into the US but coming up from Central America. For that matter illegals flooding into Mexico on the way to the US from every country in the world. Lot of s are crossing thru Mex.
3. Tap into natural resources like gas and oil. A gallon of gas would become 1.39
4. Enforce a national diet. Mexicans are notoriously overweight.
5. End their oppressive pros ution abductions. That place in central Mexico that abducts poor farm girls from all of rural Mexico. String those phuckers up by the toes and completely eradicate. Young women could then be courted properly by new prosperous Mexicans or marry a US citizen but without the green card scamming.
A Fabbs presidency would address all these issues.

Damage to the environment is the long standing complaint, but AMLO has done a number of controversial things on his way out the door. The judicial reform making judges elected is probably more consequential.
