    Celtics repeat?
Count on it sn. When they repeat, Tatum > Bird (who never repeated as champion). Tatum > Jim Duncan too.

    Celtics repeat?
Not likely tbh. Usually teams who are well balanced can’t repeat because everyone has to hit on all cylinders. Teams that repeat usually have two superstars and a bunch of replaceable role players, like shaq Kobe, curry + Durant + klay + green, Lebron and wade. Didn’t happen to the nuggets (one superstar), bucks, curry only warriors, Dirk only Mavs, pistons, duncan spurs (manu and Tony weren’t really durant wade or kobe level second bananas). The only team that really pulled it off were the bad boys pistons, who had so many overlapping replaceable parts that they have their own insurances.

For the Celtics they need Tatum, brown, white, and holiday to all play well as their front court isn’t the best in the world and porzingis isn’t reliable at all.

We will see, they may pull off a bad boys but I doubt it.

They have a decent bench though, and are well built for today’s NBA : switching on both ends, versatility, good defense, 3 pt shooting, and when Tatum is Kobricking, he can still male plays for others.

I think for them to repeat, Porzingis has to be healthy come playoff time.

A Celtics-KnickS ECF would be really fun

Should suit up as player coach. Still the best shooter in the Arena

    Good points.

Even though I don’t think the Celtics would win it all again, I’m just basing it off of history. I have no one I’d take over the Celtics right now, except maybe OKC who is a bit too young. I know I’m contradicting myself but perhaps the league is too weak.

Celtics is still the most complete team when healthy, I’m just not counting on all their vital clogs to be healthy when they have like 5 vital clogs. That’s just playing with percentages.

The unicorn ain’t real, so I can’t count on that.

Yeah to be fair, the current parity in rhe league and talent pool makes it difficult to repeat.

OKC made a great move by trading a dude who can’t shoot 3s for a player who can make them and can also defend.
    Expectations will be high

Tough call this year tbh. While the Celtics have the best team on paper again, I think there will be infighting between Tatum and Brown along with decline from Holiday. There are 6-7 teams I can see winning:

    Boston
    New York
    Philly
    Dallas
    OKC
    Denver
    Minny

I don’t think there will be e issues between um and Brown , the media already made a big deal about infighting btwn them and they won a le.
Besides, it never stopped Shaq and his sidekick from 3peating tbh

Philly looks hood on paper, but 2 of their 3 stars are playoff chokers.
To. e fair to Embiid, he was playing hurt vs NY, but his body language was still terrible.
And OI think PG should be 3rd in the pecking order behind Joel and Maxey.

They alsp added 7 players so they could potentially have a slow start, they should start rolling around December

I hope embiid never wins anything. Horrible style of play and dirty to top it off. Then there’s that thing with the French national team. Like a modern day Karl Malone without the pedophile tendencies (that we know of).

The most frustrating thing with Embiid and Harden is that they are so skilled they don’t need to do all that foul baiting
If they were not talented I would understand tbh
