After the ass kicking the democrats just got,,,,this girl knows she needs to pretend to move to the center if she ever wants to run for president. She's acting like she cares about Trump voters now and deletes pronouns from her X account. Democrats will do anything,,,,,,

AOC removes pronouns from X bio

The subtle change to her X bio comes as some Democrats have called on the party to reevaluate how it handles some social issues. Rep. Seth Moulton's (D-MA) comments on Democrats potentially reevaluating its stance on transgender athletes in women’s sports have caused backlash from others in the party.
“I have two little girls. I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that," Moulton told the New York Times.

,,,,,Democrats admitting they are lying piece of s,,,,,

lol afraid of the infinitessimal instance of trans athletes

let the communities sort it out.

it's so in rare there doesn't need to be a law.

iirc, according to the Austin American-Statesman, there is no record of a trans athlete ever competing at any Texas university.

The whole "crafty/perverted men wishing to rise in status by transitioning to female to dominate women in athletics" trope was never very convincing.

yet, we need strong laws to prevent this from ever happening in Texas

I think the complaint from the right isn't that there are too many trans men in women's sports, but the net impact on the sport itself for female athletes. An example, I guess, would be one dominant (male born) female boxer. Maybe there would be only one, but a lot of female talent will funnel up to face that one. But I agree overall it's not a front page issue, or shouldn't be. Of course plenty on the right use it to rouse their base who already hate Gays and anyone who doesn't wear John Deere hats, overalls and spit tobacco.

The right doesn't give a about women's sports. They were just fishing for a wedge issue and they found one.

You realize the whole reason Democrats fight the culture war is because they're a right wing party economically don't you? The culture war doesn't cost their rich donors money so that's why they run on it instead of a national healthcare, or university education being funded through taxes instead of saddling graduates with crushing debt because they wanted the right to work. Or breaking up monopolies like TicketMaster or Comcast or the cartels that made our food and rent costs skyrocket. Or making corporate landlords illegal. Things that would fundamentally shake up the status quo and make life better for Americans. The DNC and GOP are so close to each other economically.

My only hope voting DNC this time around was young people dragged Biden kicking and screaming into a couple of more centrist polices, namely the $2000 out of pocket yearly cap on drugs in Medicare Part D and negotiating a few drugs. And that they'd keep dragging the party left towards the center with the hope of a reasonable party once the old power pos like Pelosi and Clyburn die off. But those two centrist things Biden did were all for people 65+ so wasn't enough to keep the young peoples' vote. This was a clear you to the DNC from young voters so no point voting for the DNC again even if there is a real election in 26 and 28.

The rational side should ignore that and move on, not debate it.

Do you vote in GOP primaries? I get so much from Henry Cuellar even though I vote against him every primary because I guess voting in the DNC primary made me a registered democrat.

All we really say is they exist. The sports organizations can figure it out for themselves since it's really a nonissue.
