If we're to win this we need to attack Embiid on most possessions, he's out of shape and will get frustrated.
Wemby is smart enough not to fall for his foul baiting on the other end.

Wemby doesn’t forget. After Embiid hung that huge number on us last year, he ducked the rematch with some minor owie.
I think this game will be interesting from a pride perspective for Victor. Last year Embiid dropped 70 points on Victor. Victor is hyper compe ive so it will be interesting to see how he does in this game against Embiid.
Iirc, Embiid scored just 14 when directly matched up with Victor. He scored most of his points on Collins.
I bet Jeremy will pull some shenanigans and trigger Embiid.
Sixers won 4 of their last 6 games. They are a very good team when healthy, but just it they haven’t been together that much all season. It’s another challenge for our young team against a very good team away. Wemby needs help to slow down Embiid. Hopefully Sochan can frustrate him and get him out of rhythm. Either that or he’s poking a bear. Wemby needs to makes his shots early to create opportunities for Sochan/Vassell to attack the rim. GSG!

Someone went through game film, and it was actually 16 points on Vic, and the rest on everyone else. Embiid did duck the rematch, though.

Got a chance if Collins remains nailed to the bench. He started the Embiid fire resulting in him putting up 70. Bassey should be able to give a better effort - plus he is quick and athletic enough to keep Embiid in front of him.
Embiid has looked like a mummy out on the court when he does play. 76ers need to get off of that contract.

I expect the Spurs to lose the next two games, both on the road against solid opponents.
We will see how much the Spurs have really improved over the next couple of games.
No doubt the spurs have improved to beat the bottom teams now and win home games against opponents on back to backs as they had trouble even winning those games the last couple of years but have they improved enough to beat a quality opponent when they are on a back to back or on the road.
This game gives Spurs and 76ers FO an opportunity to discuss a Yabusele trade.
I want to see Champ score 30 against the team that kicked him to the curb. I'll settle for 5 fives from Bassey too.
