Shame about Jeremy, but I was thinking it would be better if Castle starts since Gordon won't play in these two games. I guess two of them cancel each other out in their role.

I guess matchups will be:
Devin-Westbrook
Castle-Murray
CP3-Braun
Barnes-MPJ
Wemby-Jokic
when we defend.

I expect Braun to chase Devin around and it's going to be interesting to see if it's CP3-Westbrook or Castle-Westbrook when we're on offense.
Either way we need to attack Murray.

Westbrook has been great as of late, their second best player.

Spurs are still yet to win a game on the road against a team over .500, 0-8 so far. 0-9 if you include Sixers into good teams list.

Imo, the only chance is to leave Wemby to his own devices against Jokic and shut everyone else down.
If Jokic is allowed to have 12+ assists, we won't win this game. And it's not like we have size to help without Jeremy. Double-teaming him with guards is pointless because he'll find the open man every single time.

And yeah, it's time for Devin to get his together.

continue have to games or ok games.Our highest paid player suppose to be taking this another level to make us really good.

I'm guessing Champ starts for Sochan, not Castle, and I think that makes sense generally (though DEN without Gordon might be an exception where you can get by with Devin at SF).

Devin has been terrible this season at unnecessarily doubling down on Wemby's man and leaving his guy wide open for a 3. As LeBowen points out, that would be a major mistake as Jokic will find the open man every time.

Wemby has generally played well against Jokic. I think we match up well with DEN and we'll see how it goes!

If it's merely getting his feet under him after injury, then one of these games now till Feb Devin will turn things around and start demonstrating consistency.

This is his window and I'm growing impatient but not quite giving up on Vassell just yet.

I know it's easier said than done, but we need to win both of these games and give Wemby the best birthday weekend possible. We lost on his birthday last year, so let's make up for it this year.
