I still bet 500 dollars on UT, because unless Young totally implodes or is indeed paid off, UT will win this game going away.

On the spread and sports betting - say you bet now while it's 7.5, but at game time it goes down to 4. Does your bet stay where you bet, or does it go on the final spread? Logic says it's the final spread, but I've never thought about it before, nor done any betting.
It is not like horse racing, in that it stays the same as when you bet.
So if the line goes to 4, then my bet nowis better than if I waited.
The line changes to try to get an equal amt on both sides, that way the house wins money no matter what, because they get 10% of all bets.(The vig)
It's probably going to be high scoring so, on a relative basis, 48-40 game is a closer game than 17-9.
Of course, that probably doesn't go into oddsmakers' thinking.
