Wouldn't affect Trump electorally but it would deeply sabotage the GOP if Canada became the 51st state and apportioned electoral college votes/house seats away from many other states. Though it wouldn't quite hurt the GOP as much as it should because the smallest population states like Wyoming and the Dakotas and Alaska can't go under 3 electoral votes/1 house seat, but, there's no denying it would make the GOP path to 270 difficult. Plus the GOP is probably looking at uphill climbs in the House and giving the Dems 2 free senate seats.
No reason for MI/MN/NY to be buying electricity from ing -ass Canada in the first place, but, those 3 states are currently governed by three of the five most wacky and neo-Marxist dictator Democrat governors in the country.
