It’s not a “mock” draft where they are picking players they think will be taken with the pick. It is picking players that best fit a “need”. It states shooting as the Spurs biggest need. Thus Kneuppel at 2
i question the value of this type of mock other than "man we are still weeks out and need content" but they outright state this is not what they're expecting to happen. in the mock, vecenie says he is picking purely off need and not considering value

I don't think that was a mock draft suggesting we take Kon at #2, it was simply a statement of who fits better. The other guy was basically doing a BB based on talent and he had Harper at #2.

He sure does have bust for a top 10 pick if he's drafted that high. If his shot struggles he doesn't bring enough other things.
His upside is a solid bench player who can knock down open shots at a good %.
You think he can hang against a fast athletic team like Indiana? I see him struggling to keep up with their lenght and athleticism.
