Per Senior NBA Insider Mike Scotto. The veteran 6'8 260 lb. Frenchman avg'd 11/6/2 on 50/38/73 splits last season with Philadelphia. This would actually be a solid pickup imo and would give the Spurs some frontcourt depth tbh.

He's a Zach Collins level defender at C, but should be fine as a backup PF.
Would be a nice acquisition, I guess with BAE, he's not worth more than that.

As posted in another thread... this would bring some throwback Antoine Carr/JR Reid/Charles Smith energy at PF. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but it would be a vibe.

I mean, we need some big bodies somehow, and they're not going to be HOFers.

This felt like an obvious one to me. Good to see it though.

Would be a great backup PF but not sure I'd like him as a starter next to Vic since his defense isn't great. Still, he is a good shooter and would be nice pickup

With all the options available I‘m fine having him as a Mamu replacement

He’s a motor guy who could be good locker room guy, not to mention a fellow French guy. I have no qualms signing him

Yea I wouldn't expect Yabusele to move the needle much tbh but it would give us some beef in the middle beside Wemby in whatever role he played, and also would give us some much-needed depth at the F position. I'm all for it so long as they don't overpay, which I doubt they would.

Fox, Vassell, Barnes, Keldon, Wemby, Castle, Sochan, Branham, Blake, Julian, pick 2, pick 14 (12 roster spots)

CP being replaced by Harper. Bassey and Mamu need replacing. Would love to see Branham moved and 4 new players added (2 of which being draft picks) via FA/Trade

If they intend to move off Sochan (I dont think they will) then he'd be a nice backup 4. Otherwise, he's pretty low on my FA wish list. Would still prioritize a backup C and higher volume 3pt shooting tbh.

What exactly does "have interest in" mean

I don't understand why stuff like this even get's reported.

Can't credibly play C if he's utilized as the solo big (not a good enough defensive rebounder/rim protector) like he often was for the banged up/tanking 76ers, but can be an option to defend girthy C's, if he's next to Wembanyama. The Rose to his Duncan.

The thing is, unless they make a consolidation trade with multiple wings/forward, it'd be difficult to get to those lineups.

If you're French and have touched an NBA court in the past 5 years, Spurs reportedly have an interest.

A back-up for Wemby, who doesn't want to play C?

Antoine Carr would be a great get lol. Not the best defender but offensively and rebounding wise would be great.

If it's for the BAE and we still go for a backup C via draft or with the MLE, it would be a great pickup. But I'd also like to see Mamu back and I'm not sure having both makes sense.
