Stop it. No
If this trade was proposed, I'm kinda 50/50. I mean, think about it, Harper may not be able to lead the Wizards to a winning record his 1st 2 years in the league, which means the Spurs could have lottery picks in the next 2 drafts with the pick swaps with the Wizards. This trade would also sure up the roster without messing with the timeline. Middleton could be used as trade bait at next season trade deadline. Championship contenders may want his expiring contract and experience. If not, then the Spurs keep him for thier playoff run next season. Not saying I'll do it, but I would have to consider this trade proposal. Spurs rotation could look something like this, which isn't bad at all, unless Dylan Harper ended up being the next coming of SGA. What are your thoughts? Oh, by the way, resign CP3 to continue mentoring Wemby, Fox, Castle, etc.
Fox----------CP3-----------Wesley
Castle-----Keldon
Coulibaly-Middleton-Julian
Barnes----Sochan------Mamu
Wemby---Maluach----14th Pick
no, because there are designated draft and trade threads
so the Spurs are trading the 2 best players in the package to move down in the draft?
Here's why you don't trade Harper...he's the best player in that deal. When everyone is trying to get him that tells you that you want to keep him.
It's neither interesting for either team(not sure about my grammar here tbh ^^)
Spurs give way too much in talent and WAS would give up their chance of a lottery pick next season (at least) that could be even more valuable than Harper
So we have gone from trading Blair and bonner for stars to trading our stars for the other teams’ Blairs and bonners.
