    Thanks timvp!

Would be fun to see this young group make a run and try to win this thing. I know it's just Summer League, but little things like that boost confidence.

That said...we'll see how many more games Harper and Bryant actually play.

Bryant - I'm really impressed by his work rate and thrill in playing defense and look forward to the years ahead, but he needs to learn to handle the ball and a lot more on offense. I think he'll yo-yo between Austin and SA.

Ingram - I see the idea with him. Late, when Dallas was pressuring hard, whenever Harrison got the ball I felt secure. He's a smart players, but if he can't score or overcome his physical limitations he's too limited.

Harper - Clearly a very talented player. I like putting in a shift on defense. My longterm concern is the fit with Fox and Castle. Harper is a heavy ball-dominant player right now and probably deserves to be, but so does Fox.

Jones-Garcia - Seeing him off the bench, as he will be in the NBA, was good. As for the turnovers, the staff may be asking him to do new things closer to an expanded role if he's to be on the main squad.

It looks like a very cohesive team out there on both sides of the floor. It helps to have Dylan dictating the offense, while DJG playing a great 6th man, and overall defense especially from Bryant. Bryant taking the defensive challenge is worth the excitement despite his offensive limitations. Kudos to the coaches for getting these guys playing team basketball. They could go deep.

Remember when we wanted the Spurs to get Corey Maggette because he could get to the line? Today was a good sign for Harper. Also, that block was a thing of beauty. Nice job, rook. Trying not to get overly excited after one game.

One of my earliest memories of a 50 page thread on a guy that never came. The Magette thread was a house of mirrors that build up a lot of eventually shattered hope lol. Then didn't he finally come late career in a summer camp walk on and he could barely dribble he was so old and washed up.

Happy to see how quickly the game grades have been coming. Last year, they came after the main game commentary among the posters had fizzled out. Timvp, I hope your life situation allows you to continue to crank these out quickly. Thanks!
