Why, just why?
Can anyone explain this by putting a true positive and rational spin on it?
We signed mother in' Riff Raff
Jesus! Ouch. Rough thread le. I'm still rooting for the guy!
He's got a little size (6'6", 6'10" wingspan) and a little range, which makes him different enough from the typical smaller non shooter guards that we often sign. Not a world-beater, but seems like a fine deep bench player. Let's see what he does.
Maybe he is the Rorschach Test Reflecting Pool of Lindy Waters--what we see in him tells us something about ourselves.![]()
What about the fake movie from home alone can we make any jokes about that one? Ive been trying
I’ve got as far as “if wemby’s love was an ocean…”

" He’s a very solid defensive player, with the agility of a guard, but the length (6’6 height, with an even longer wingspan) of a wing. He gets into passing lanes regularly and disrupts plays, and could help form the part of an exciting, active, and pesky defensive lineup...............
Wow!
Hey this le feels a little racist like something the guys in killers of the flower moon would come up with.
Watch this guy turn into the 3&D wing we've been praying for now, and I'll give OP all the credit for the anti-jinx
One year deal for a third stringer, why would there need to be a positive spin? It's a risk free deal and irrelevant in the bigger picture.
Not hardly, this is the nicer way Mark Cuban referred to the Riverwalk in the past...gotta know the history.
You better...somebody gets my intent!

Ah, thanks, context helps.
I'm disappointed this thread le didn't reference the greatest street interview of all time.
That would've been awesome, but, negates the reverse jinx nature of the le. CIA Pop level psychology going on in this one.
This thread should be called…The Hall Pass Thirst Fountain of Lindy Waters III
So get that its a Cuban reference but how is Lindy linked to Dallas
This thread le is so good that I propose you start a duplicate Lindy thread just so it can get the appreciation it deserves
That's what Danny Green and Bruce both basically were when they came to the spurs and became something solid going forward.
Bruce started 72 of 82 games the year before coming to the spurs and started every game when he came to spurs.
Green i would agree is a good comp.
He was also selected 2nd team All D with Miami that year.
I'm curious how much Hall Pass Waters is going to play. Possibly zero but there's a world where he's basically as good as Champagnie and it makes things interesting.
Should have been called The Triple Lindy diving board of Lindy Waters
10 day with miami.... in 97 in 98 with the celtics he appeared in about 60 games was a third stringer the next season in boston did basically nothing. In 2000 he was a pretty decent starter..... So I stand by the comparison of outside looking in turned into a good NBA Career but did forget that Bruce was a middling rotation player for one year before the spurs.
