I think there are plenty on this board here that can't grasp that. That's why they voted down democrats in favor of swamp-team Trump
The worst thing about Trump and Vance is they are beholden to AIPAC and Israel-First. I.e. the greedy trillionaire asset manager corporations like BlackRock and their interests. The system. Covering up the Epstein files. The Democrats aren't better. It's a two party circular human centipede. Trump wants to dis Slotkin, well Slotkin is also funded and protected by AIPAC. That's just one example.
I'd consider voting for Newsom over Vance in 2028 but I really don't know. Definitely not voting for Vance. I would consider voting for DeSantis, Rubio, or Youngkin. I still like the idea of voting red down-ballot to keep ultra progressive and social-socialism (not so much economic socialism, but counterculture) from becoming too strong. It seems like the Democrat President/ conservative senate and congress combination has worked the best for America, like the 90s and first half of the 2010s. Definitely not voting for an awful candidate who openly hates whites and men and promotes counterculture like AOC or Buttigieg. Newsom is the only electable candidate for the Democrats in 2028.
My ideal ticket to vote for would be a "Truth Party" ticket of like Tucker Carlson-Candace Owens for 2028, who would say " THE SYSTEM" and actually expose all the real truths, up both Republicans and Democrats and air out all of the dirty laundry, and simply not give a as they take a bull to the china shop and make a farce out of the system, the system which is the problem with the USA, dismantle the military complex, release ALL the files (Warren court/Kennedys, Epstein, FBI details, etc), up big corporations and get big wealth out of politics and actually enforce laws against high wealth asset classes and enforce an rust laws for the first time in 100+ years, abolish the deep state agencies, DECOUPLE THE USA FROM ISRAEL PERMANENTLY, overturn Citizens United v FEC, end all foreign wars involving the USA and end all foreign aid, end all immigration, raise taxes massively on corporations to FDR-era levels, ideally decouple the US from NATO and become truly independent, actually re-establish a true middle class by establishing a wealth tax on the 0.01% particularly corporations. Strengthen the federal government and reduce the impact of the 10th amendment, make laws limiting individuals to 3 real estate properties and companies to, like, 5, eliminate loopholes and tax loopholes and itemized deductions.
Newsom won't be the nominee
The President of the United States unilaterally levied a tax on all of us and is redistributing our taxes to a core segment of his supporters.
