About time......
Got a check in the mail yesterday from Duff. I knew he would step up to the plate. He had told me about some family financial problems a while back and that was why he was late in paying me the money.
Now, you guys can all leave Duff alone and actually give him some props for sending me the money, when he really did not have to ( I was not going to take him to court or anything)

Props for what? Paying back a debt that shouldve been paid back long time ago, and the only reason he paid it back now, is so everyone will get off his ass.

You don't get to pat your own back after everything you did prior to paying Jim and it nearly taking you a year and a half. You're not going to please the people in here (not that you care) by doing the right thing when you spent so much time doing the wrong thing.
It is good that he got paid, but I honestly hope you didn't leave a bad taste in his mouth when it comes to helping people out. You're still a dip , but at least your a a dip who came through late. And better late than never.
Can't disagree with you guys more. Duff restored his honor. Everyone makes mistakes in life and this guy did what he had to do to make things right.

I didn't pay Jim so everyone could get off my ass, I don't give a what anyone on here thinks. I didn't tell anyone that I did because it's none of your business or anyone elses like I've said time before.
Jim told everyone because he wanted everyone to get off my back, if it was up to me, I wouldn't have told anyone. I'd have let you guys think whatever the you want to think because no matter what anyone says to the contrary, you'll think it anyway.

No, Jim gave it up as a loss and offered to compromise with you with a small donation to charity. Doesn't matter because the money was never the issue.
You did right finally paying off your debt. Next time you'll have an opportunity to be perfect in your committment. Live and learn. You don't know me but I'm proud of you.
