Since the free agency frenzy has died down and there's not much basketball news except the upcoming Olympics, it's time for the FSP Mid-Summer GTG Weekend Extravaganza.

Friday, August 13th
4:00pm

Retama Park -- 50 Cent Friday

What better day to try your luck at the track than Friday The 13th!

Live racing begins at 6:45pm. Simulcast racing is all day.
Therefore, this GTG will begin at 4:00pm.

Depending on how many people are attending, I can get us a group rate on admission, boxseats, perhaps free parking, etc. So, sign in this thread and we'll see.

Hotdog eating contest
Hoola hooping contest
Watermelon seed spitting contest

Watching Hoops

timvp, Kris Rivenburgh and Jeff Vexler play on a City League basketball team which I coach. If you are interested, you can come watch them play. The game is at Woodlawn Lake Gym.
