After watching the game, I wouldn't say they had a bad shooting night. Spurs defense is usually a notch above everyone else's. For the longest time, Brand & Cassell couldn't say the word "miss".
so how was it? the same clips took 100-plus from detroit but couldn't muster 90 on the spurs. good sign or just bad shooting night?

Everybody with sense knows playing @ SA is the hardest place to win on the road.
spurs turned it up a notch 2nd half... clips only had 37 pts in 2nd half + ot. one of those 37 was in ot.
I only saw the second half, but the Spurs defense was much improved from where it has been most of this year. Still not Finals-ready, though.
Since the SBC Center opened how many 'home' games have been lost???
One more than should have been:

"We was robbed!!!"
DANG! Just ruined my night...
I don't want to have another sleepless night.
Since you asked . . . .
After the Clippers game, the Spurs are 114-20 in SBC Center (.851) in regular season games.
02-03: 33-8
03-04: 33-8
04-05: 38-3
05-06: 10-1
They're also 21-8 (.724) in playoff games:
02-03: 8-4
03-04: 4-1
04-05: 9-3
In all home games, therefore, the Spurs are 135-28 (.828) at SBC Center.
Spurs are getting the defense back together as new guys learn the system. We are moving up in the stats on team defense.
Not only couldn't the Clips muster 90 on the Spurs, they couldn't get there with the additional overtime. In fact, they were simply shut down in overtime, getting only 3 points.
hope its here to stay but u know our spurs.....they just cruuuuuuzing...in dem here parts defense blooms in MARCH!
