Dammit! I love that show! Why couldn't America love it too?
I don't watch the show but I know my cousin does and loves it. Word around is that Showtime may try to rescue the show.

Showtime may rescue 'Arrested Development'
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Will the pay-TV environs of Showtime be a friendlier place for the Emmy-winning comedy "Arrested Development," which just got canceled by Fox?
Word around town this week is that Showtime is in talks to pick up the comedy about a chaotic family. Sources stressed that the talks are still exploratory and that it would be a big financial commitment on Showtime's part to pick up the show in its current form with a large ensemble cast that includes Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, Jessica Walter and Will Arnett.
"Arrested" was an instant hit with critics following its debut on Fox in late 2003, but the show never pulled in much of a crowd, even after it won the Emmy for best comedy series in 2004. Last month, Fox threw in the towel, cutting its episode order for "Arrested's" third season from its initial 22-episode ticket to 13.
Representatives for Showtime, and the series' producers 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV declined comment late Tuesday.

there's a full hour of AD coming up on fox this week or next
This past monday and this coming monday and the monday after...they completely canned Kitchen Confidential..which I thought had a great cast and was pretty down and dirty..funny even.
thats horse . thats one of the funniest shows on tv. damn america and their reality loving ways.
Hark, the Chode Regulator sings.
arrested development willbe another family guy. when it comes to dvd everyone will buy it and then cable tv, aka fox, will bring it back.
Showtime is in talks to purchase the shows rights from Fox and even possibly conitnue the show...
During black friday, best buy had season 1 and 2 for $14 each. Bought one of each although I already own season 1. The bad thing is they had quite a bit(except for season 1, I bought one of the last ones) at 7 pm that night.

thanks for posting the exact same thing the original poster did.
I've never seen this show.
Me either.
Fox is stupid
ABC is also after AD.
Also, AD is not canceled! Will it be? Probably. Is it? No.
its a good one. kinda hectic and oddball humor.
good point. but as you just said, probably will be. it was voted as the show that is probably going to be canceled that least should be, or something like that, by viewers at the beginning of the tv season in a national survey.
Just wanted to pound the point home...
good job. glad someone around here is pounding home the point. thats a skill few people take seriously these days.
Imagine owns the show, not Fox.
So if they an find a buyer (which they seem to be doing now) then Arrested will be canceled but will live on on another network or cable channel.
