Did anyone catch the news that the EU and Poland are erecting a border wall to seperate west and east, mainly to keep smugglers from Russia and its former members out?
Last month they were ripping Israel about its security wall seperating it and Palestine.
And to top it all off, the Israeli company responsible for building Israel's wall has been contracted by the Poles to build their portion of the fence.
Nice.
now, ihaven't looked it up yet, but the problem with the wall in gaza is just that. it is in gaza. it's not along the 1967 border, it is effectivly annexing terrirtory that does not belong to isreal.
so unless poland is planning to build it's wall outside of it's terrortory, it's not the same thing.
The US built a fence on part (most?/all?) of its border with Mexico. Fences on established borders is a good thing.
