At least you can fall back on the fact that you won game 7. I die a little inside everytime I see that game 5 is on one of those classic channels.

That Game 6 was weird for the Spurs. After such an amazing win in Game 5, the Spurs should have crushed Detroit. That game just showed how good of a team Detroit is, and that you can never count them out.

Agreed. If the situation had been reversed, no way the Spurs would have come back to win game 6 (c.f., 0.4*).

I think the Spurs just assumed the Pistons would not be able to recover from Horry's dagger in Game 5, much as they (the Spurs) had not recovered from .4 the year before. Wrong assumption, the Pistons were the most resilent team in the playoffs last year. Thank God we won Game 7 though, the most nerve wracking Spurs game of all time.

Just like that 0.4 games for us Spurs fans.

You have to admit it was a great series. I hope we do it again this year....and win. I would hope both teams are compe ive if they do meet this year.

NBA TV comes with satalite packages or if you order NBA league pass. Detroit was not gonna go down easy.

I still contemplate that game on either the Spurs didn't try so hard or Detroit just played a little better.

Man, that was such an amazing series. I'd love to see Spurs-Pistons become like an 80s Lakers-Celtics rivalry (with us playing the Lakers part of course... 5 les vs 3 )
