Everyone has played down this game because "Manu's out."

That's bull . The Spurs should have gone in there today and destroyed Detroit without Manu - that would have been one uva statement.

Instead we're treated to a team that looks like it doesn't give a damn about being there today.

    Total disappointment.

Thanks to Nazr for showing up today in the second half when he got time, at least it looked like *someone* wanted to play today.

Yeah, but being the champions in June of 2006 is what's important now.

I'm glad Pop said he'd be able to get the team's attention if they lost today's game.

    Oh...and Free The Kiwi!

My only positive note from today is that Bowen still owns Rip.

Pathetic effort on the glass by the Spurs all around though. That's what did them in.

    Congrats to the Pistons.

That is a horrible way to look at it. It would have made it easier to catch the Pistons for Home Court Advantage at somepoint this season. Lets not forget how big Home Court Advantage was in last years finals.

Everybody has been giving the December talk and it's just a game BS. Next thing to do is suck it up, Spurs beat the Pistons at home and then try to get a better record than the Pistons and HCA is locked up. Easier said than done though/

    I wouldnt either.

Playing a meaningless game in Detroit on Christmas day is a pretty crappy way to spend it.

    What else is new.

He did his usual hot potato with the ball bs.

It would have made it easier to catch the Pistons for Home Court Advantage at somepoint this season.
there is 54 games to go.

Thats not enough to catch up in 4 in the loss column?? lol.

    alrighty.

The Spurs record is Fool's ing gold. They are being Owned by the Eastern Conference.

They suck ass. Tim Duncan is a fool and I am calling him out right now.

He is playing like a pussy. I don't give a how many rings he has, he is getting owned.

Pop is a tool. No one on this team knows what their role is. Parker can't shoot, Bowen isn't stopping anyone, Rasho is pitiful, Beno is still on the team , Manu is now become every other month manu......

WTF? Represent a ing champion already............

    Spurs suck.

The Spurs just played a 7 game series with Detroit last finals, and they still don't know how to in box out. I don't know if they've noticed yet, but the Pistons grab every single loose ball throughout the entire game. They had like 90 offensive rebounds.
It took Pop a whole half to put Nazr in. . . in idiot.

The Spurs looked like a bunch of slackers. They didn't rebound, they didn't contest shots that they should have...I remember Horry just standing there as McDyess shoots over him...Antonio pulled up and Horry was like it and turned around.

    Disappointing....

    You didn't stand a chance...

If any spurs fans even thought they had a chance was either on drugs or dreaming...

    Wow a 15 point spanking!!
On any normal day, even without Ginobili, the Spurs would have won. Today they just jerked off all game.

For a team that has had a number of signifigant injuries and different rotations our record is not too bad. I just wish we could come out and play with energy. We seem to have nothing to play for. I still fully expect us to start rolling in the second half of the season as we always do.
