This is why I love week 17 in the NFL.
I thought the Cowboys needed both Carolina and the Redskins to lose.

BIG ISSUE: The Cowboys will know by kickoff whether Sunday night's game against the St. Louis Rams at Texas Stadium (7:30 p.m. CST) has any playoff implications. At 9-6, they need Washington or Carolina to lose, along with a victory over the Rams, to qualify as one of the two NFC wild-card teams. The Cowboys also have a chance of qualifying for the playoffs if a victory over the Rams is coupled with losses by the Giants and Tampa Bay. The Cowboys' playoff aspirations took a hit two weeks ago with that devastating 35-7 loss to Washington, but they put themselves back into playoff contention with Saturday's 24-20 victory at Carolina.
Well, the Cowboys need a of a lot more than that, but it won't matter when the 'skins don't comply.

I'm a Cowboys fan. That's the only NFL team that I follow but they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
