And before someone asks, no he's not married.
so you gave birth this morning and now you're posting?
I'm not the mother, freak.
does the father know this? poor guy.
Oh, Gee!! is smoking them out of the yard today.
He's my second best friend next to my husband. So I was just making the birth announcement.
Noel's team let him have time off to go be there when the baby was born. They gave him 10 days. Fortunately the baby was born this morning, so he'll only miss two games and be back with the team tomorrow.
Congrats! Do we get to see pics?
Yes. I should get them tomorrow and I'll post some.
Congrats to him and his girl friend. =)
Who is Noel Felix?
My friend who is "almost" an NBA player. He plays in the CBA.
Congrats! Looking forward to seeing those adorable baby pics.
That would be his "babymomma"

Congratulations!
Stay sharp, 10-days are coming up!
He's second in the league (CBA) in blocks right now and playing great defense but he needs to improve his rebounding. Brandon Hunter steals them all. Did you know that you can watch some of the CBA games live on the net?
I knew they had live scores but never checked the site at the right time for a webcast. I'll have to check again.
I think it's just the Stampede homegames. I've watched them twice so far. It's like a home video camera with the radio broadcast.![]()
They have them archived -- pretty cool. About as good as one could expect.
Maybe this is how Josh Davis got scouted.
Noel says there's a lot of NBA scouts at games pretty regularly. The Bulls have been eyeing him a lot this season and giving his coaches feedback. They have some deal in the CBA that if an NBA team calls you up, the CBA team still holds your rights in case you get sent back down. Has it always been like that?
To my knowledge, yes -- it's always been that way since so many callups are temporary. I can't remember a player being cut by an NBA team and joining another CBA team.
Yeah I'm sure scouts are all over the place. I'm impressed at the talent level the CBA has been able to maintain in the light of some of the D-League changes. I guess since ithe D-league's not a true farm system, the CBA is still a good option.
I think the money is a little better at the high end in the CBA than it is in the DLeague. That might be a factor to some guys.
I was just thinking about that. Do they get room and board too? The Toros live in a pretty decent apartment complex here for free, but Fizer is the only guy who doesn't have a roommate.
The French might be interested to know Turiaf's first pro game is archived on the Stampede site.
They get room and board - but they stay at a hotel not apartments. They have no roommates at home, but they do have roommates on the road.
