Does anybody know how to upload DVD movies to your iPod Video? My friend uploaded a movie from a DVD, but just the main movie not anything else and he is on vacation right now.

Hmmm...No, I haven't even thought about downloading a DVD onto my video iPod...I've just got songs. I wonder how much space a movie would take up.

I download movies and convert them to MPEG4. Then, put them in my Ipod. Either way, you have to concer the DVD's. My movies were abut 500 MB each.

So the videos have to be MPEG-4?

Because, when I try dragging a video and then trying to upload it I get an error message saying wrong format. I read up that Apple refers you to buy a program to convert it to quicktime format or something.

Try dragging the video in the library, of iTunes, to convert it. That's what I do when I download a song in wma instead of mp3...it will convert the song into the right format.

I got Videora from the support forums at Apple. It works great. Just remember to look for the videos under program files>videora, and add those video files to the iPod.
