Remember Kobe and Fisher in '03 ?

With the Longhorns win over the Trojans today (41-38) to win the BCS le, is this a sign that the Championship gods are still in Texas?

Billups was rooting for USC. Hmmmn.

    Let's not forget 2001 and 2002.

Southern California broke some hearts of Texas too.

    Selective memory.

Buddy Holly, I could care less. This has nothing to do with the Pistons. This has to do with a stupid thread, since it has gone both ways (as ZStomp has mentioned).

BTW, I was rooting for Texas all the way. I live in LA and I love seeing all of these bandwagon fans cry

The moment you brought your nappy ass in here with that picture, is the moment the Pistons had something to do with this thread as well.

The sweeps in '99 and '03 pretty much cancel those years out.

    Selective memory... no kidding.

whatever, my post was legitimate, and had something to do with the thread (Texas vs. Southern California teams). You couldn't think of a legit response, so you post something that is completely off topic. Pretty lame.

Hahaha... 2004 must have been so freaking sweet then! Man, it was beatiful watching Lakers fans talking about how no team with O'Neal, Bryant, Payton, and Malone could go down. Everyone I knew in LA was ready to bust out the champagne after their win in game 2.

Yea, I moved here from Michigan about a week after we beat them in the Finals. I loved the looks I got wearing my Billups jersey around

I had a friend from Detroit who got three kegs and threw a huge party for the Pistons win like 2 days after. The whole city was still in a state of shock. That was the best a season could go without the Spurs winning a le. I loved seeing Malone go out a punk one last time.

Dallas and Houston are in the top 5 obese cities in the world. I'm sure San Antonio is not far behind.

Lol i was overjoyed. Sitting with a room full of USC fans who wouldnt stop talking to the lone UCLA fan who was rooting for UT...ahhh the i heard, i kep telling them it wasnt over.

It was great to see them wince in agony when Vince Young pranced into the end zone, and it was even greater to get my sweet revenge. I would have still loved to see UCLA ruin SC's chances at the national le, but damnit am i glad that UT beat those bas s...Today i will sleep a happy person

Disgraceful..How can you root for a Texas team over a California team? I get it, you're a UCLA fan but holy Benedict Arnold man don't you see like 15 responses and about 100 a day here talking smack about anything LA? Your hate for the Spurs should be greater than your hate for USC.

He has a better reason to root for USC than all these UTSA students that think they're "Longhorns" Talk about bandwaggoners!
