Miller fined $5000

NEW YORK, May 27 -- Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller has been fined $5,000 for kicking the basketball into the stands, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Pacers' 85-78 loss last night to the Detroit Pistons in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
