So USC is ranked ahead of an undefeated Texas team that beat them, a 9-3 Georgia team is ranked 4 spots ahead of an 11-1 West Virginia team that beat them, an 11-2 LSU team is ranked behind a 9-3 Miami team they throttled, and so on....

    Great stuff huh?

    Both polls are BS.

Auburn ranked higher than the team that smoked them in the bowl? Bull!!

For the record, I went to Texas and this isn't posted as a "ha ha in your face" post. I just can't believe all of the BS and crap that goes along with college football rankings.

I thought that maybe it hadn't, but the information in the grid is up to date (i.e. AP and Coaches rank TX #1 inside the BCS grid formula along with the current records.

The Poll is from December 4, 2005...and WAY off.
The Harris Poll is one of three determinants in the BCS. The FINAL Harris Poll is NOT after the Bowl Season, it is before the Bowls begin. It is instrumental in determining the BCS representatives in the game.

You will NOT see a "BCS" Final poll after the games are over, because the FINAL Harris Poll is that 4 Dec Poll...See link:

    That's good to know.
I was thrown off by them updating that information in the BCS grid.
