Not. I don't see a difference.
Or are more teams than usual actually taking defense seriously? Thoughts?
Seems that way to me, I guess the drubbing the Spurs gave the high octane Suns in the WCF last year opened some teams eyes and they started realizing that there might be something to that old saying "Defense Wins Championships".
Not. I don't see a difference.
In word, if not in deed. The top two defensive teams have won the championship the past 3 years. Other organizations notice these things.
Nets have played good D for a while.
Suns have slightly improved.
Who else has improved their D?
memphis has.
Well, the Wiz certainly haven't.
Gilbert Arenas has my vote for the most overrated player in the Association.
Clippers, Jazz, Lakers, Memphis and Minnesota (slightly), to name 5.
Dallas actually has not improved it's opp. fg% year-over-year.
Lakers coaching.
Jazz are somewhat healthy
Clippers are healthy and have added Mobley who is pretty decent defensively.
Memphis is improved? Ive always thought their D was up to snuff.
interesting.
Prob the additions of a good defensive playing PG in B Jack is working wonders.
