    As far as I'm concerned, we won't know about any Big 12 school until they're in the second half of their conference schedule. That's when rotations get tightened as teams really start playing like there's something up for grabs, whether it's a NCAA at-large bid or a higher seed in the conference tourney.

    Colorado was one point away from being undefeated before get throttled in Austin last Saturday. Team Aggie was a ty game in California away from being unbeaten right now, and they're still a awfully gaudy 11-1. Every team in the conference except Baylor, who hasn't played yet, is over .500 right now. OU can go 8-8 in the conference and still wind up with a 17-10 record and a probable dance ticket.
