I agree. Play Manu NOW.
sad. manu must be pretty pissed.
Popovich must be on prescription medication
Agree.
Also, Rasho needs to go sweep the ing parking lot.
Manu gets a steal and scores. Thank you God.
I agree, put Nazr in, he likes to play physical.
And while I'm at it, Pop needs to get off his 4down kick.
So Pop tells the tv people before the game he needs to get Manu back in the starting lineup.
Then he doesn't start him, doesn't start him the second half, and we come out flat.
Is Pop just trying to it up?
If the Spurs are going to play iso, transition and one on one ball, then they need to play Manu, or set a ing pick.
This reminds me of when Phyllis owned Pop in LA. He'd make an adjustment (like taking away the lane) and Pop's circuits and system would overload.
More great coaching... Rasho guarding Rasheed 25 feet away with Horry on Ben?
You've got to be ting me.
Pop is losing this game for us. His lineups, his antics are starting to get old. Doesn't help we miss easy shots. Like I said we make Detroit look better than they are.
Detroit is being more physical than us. I'm glad our most physical inside player, Nazr Mohammed, who happened to be our starting center last year against Detroit when we won the Finals, is riding the pine while Pop goes acid trip with the lineups.
It's also pathetic as that all we are running is iso when Pop should know by now that iso ball gets you beat by great team defense.
ing idiot.
The best thing Pop could have done tonight would have been to get pissed and get ejected in the first quarter.
Then maybe our offense would get off the first page of the playbook, Manu could have played when it mattered, and we wouldn't be subjected to all these acid trip induced lineups.

Rasho is too slow. Wallace, Wallace, and McDyss are owning his slow ass.
4th quarter: Pop is desperate for answers. He has Barry, Rasho, Van Exel, Manu, and Duncan in. The Spurs, do not look good. This is the beginning of trying times in San Antonio.
The Spurs need more size for rebounding.
The Spurs need more quickness and athleticism.
The Spurs need youth and energy coming off the bench.
The Surs need an at ude adjustment or some new agressive blood.
All of this means, the Spurs are primed to NOT repeat as NBA champions.
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are the only two Spurs to answer the call. The rest of the team is still sleepwalking.
It's deja vu on about five different levels.

Actually Bowen and Ginobili were the only two Spurs who came to play.
Tony sucked. Scoring some points in the lane in the first half isn't coming to play.
Bowen came to play tonight, he was even hitting jumpers on the pullup tonight.
Of course he was watching from the bench tonight in the fourth![]()
i don't want to sound like ... but this one's on pop... the spurs cut down the lead in the 4th quarter w/ some hassle and ball movement created by ginobili. then the playcalling really got awry.... they took ginobili out of the gameNICE POP!!!! thanks for ruining the run for us. and PARKER on RIP? THANKS AGAIN NICE CALL.
so when the pistons were slowly pulling away what did NVE do? NOTHING... AT LEAST BOWEN WOULD HAVE PLAYED DECENT DEFENSE ON RIP? BUT NOOOO
ps. manu does a better job guarding rip than bowen does
Yeah .. as Rip scored repeatedly against Tony.
I'm not sure why Pop gave up so early.
Kori, Pop was outclassed all night by Flip. That was fairly evident when he went to Oberto and left Nazr sitting on the bench.
I think the cruelest joke of the night was Pop telling the TNT people before the game that he needed Manu's energy in the starting lineup, then he brings him off the bench both halves.
WTF is that?
The terms "CIA" and "Believe" come to mind.
