Well he did have 20 points...
But yeah, you're right.
Say what you want, this loss is on Duncan and soley Duncan. Parker and Manu did their best to keep the Spurs in the game, and the bench didn't show up but if Duncan shows up then they'd be in this game.
If he's hurt, then rest him but stop playing him. I don't want to hear that. I'm tired of his reluctance to attack the basket hard and his complacency with outside jumpers. And what happend to getting a rebound or 2?
Tim Duncan is playing like complete ass right now.
Well he did have 20 points...

parker loves to dissapear in the 2nd half when it matters. TD is on a downward slope I'm telling you
Is it still too late to get KG for Tim?
No im joking...but is it?
Parker sucked this game. Don't give him praise.
Manu (and maybe Bowen) are the only ones that wanted to win.
20 points on 7-17 shooting.
Duncan set the tone early for the Spurs going 1-8.
Bowen sucked ass. His defense stunk tonight.
I didn't really see him stopping Rip and Chauncey had a good game too.
Manu played pretty bad 4-13, but he had intensity. I think....
Duncan is playing like a in choker. Injury or not he's a no show in alot of big games this year.
Rip scored maybe 3 baskets on Bowen all game. What were you watching? Most of Rip's points came against Parker.
Duncan's hurt. This is plain as day. He has no lift on his shots, and it showed.
Like I said earlier this week, Duncan needs some time off.
Some time?
Talkin about this injury it is 4 months
Rip got hot early on Bruce. Usually Bruce takes him out of his rythm and Rip is worthelss the rest of the way.
I call bull . Parker was the only reason they were in the game at all throughout the first half. He's going to struggle if no one hits a jumper on the outside because then even he can't find room on the inside, but he was doing well early.
Bowen was horrible tonight as well. He was unable to stop Rip at any point in the game, and then Pop elected to go Van Exel over bowen because of it. I've done nothing but praise Bowen all year, but he was a non factor tonight.
But speaking of Van Exel, I'm about to the point where Beno deserves a shot at that spot in the rotation. The Spurs can't run with Van Exel, and he takes bad shots. I know he'll hit them at times, but it just drives me up the wall to see him pull up on for a 3 with 20 on the shot clock.
Because Pop took out Bowen because he was so ineffective!
what was so bad about Tp's game??
Bull .
Rip scored THREE baskets on Bowen all night. Go watch the tape.
Ok Rip scored 3 baskets on Bowen and the rest on Parker.....OK pretty random thing to say. Reason is why wasn't Bowen on him for the whole game? Chauncey wasn't feeling it(only 9PTS and 6TO) and I'm guessing since the Spurs are a good defensive team shouldn't Parker be able to hang with a off-Billups.
Parker was horrible. He had tunnel vision.
We'll at least he gets the ball past half court without turning it over. It'd be nice to have speedy right about now
Bowen is far from the reason why the spurs are out of sync. It's Pop and his Ego.
FREE NAZR, START MANU, play barry they only won a championship for you last year.
He may very well be hurt, but if so I don't want him on the court right now. He looks like . And I know that Detroits front court will make a lot of players look like , but Duncan was horrid.
He's never had a propensity to take over a game or having that intensity, but it seems even worse. I've always hated his complacency but I hate it even more now. Its almost as though he feels he can even be more easy going and let Manu take up that slack.
Barry??
it helps when someone can make an outside shot. Tp repeatedly got the ball to WIDE open jump shooters.
Where was Bowen the rest of the game then? He only scored that much because Pop didn't play him very much. Why?
