Aniston rep: Pitt didn't call her
NEW YORK (AP) -- Brad Pitt did not call Jennifer Aniston to tell her about girlfriend Angelina Jolie's pregnancy announcement, entertainment TV show "Extra" reported Thursday.
Aniston's publicist, Stephen Huvane, cleared up reports that Pitt and former wife Aniston spoke before the announcement on Wednesday.
"All the reports about phone calls between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are all made-up lies," Huvane told "Extra."
Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed on Wednesday that Jolie, 30, is expecting a baby this summer with Pitt. Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N., leaked the news to a charity aid worker while filming "The Good Shepherd" in the Dominican Republic. (Watch the video of a visibly pregnant Jolie -- 2:15)
Pitt, 42, has also filed to be the adoptive father to Jolie's children, Maddox and Zahara.
Pitt and Aniston, 36, divorced last October after 4 1/2 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Pitt has denied Jolie was behind the split.

1. Does anybody really give a ? Does anybody's life change because they now know this? Is this news going to make somebody react negatively to Brad Pitt or Angeline Jolie? Do you pray that such a person doesn't exist (the one who would boycott Pitt or something because of this news)?
2. Now, I haven't fathered any children, so I don't know, but is it really customary for you to inform your ex that you're "with child" now?
3. Whoever actually was sent out to ask this question should never work as a serious journalist again.

If they had kids together, then yes, he should tell her because it will affect the children they have together. But as far as I can tell, they are divorced and have no kids so anything that happens after that does not need to be communicated, imho.
OH, and just out of curiosity- this is the second time that Angelina has had something to do with breaking up a couple (Billy Bob and Laura Dern), so I gotta wonder- how is it that she escaped the 'man-stealing ' label twice now? Just curious if anyone else has an opinion on this.

I think the only difference might be that you know she's (Aniston) is going to get questioned mercilessly and quite publicly about it, and it would have been nice to at least give her a heads-up ... but otherwise, no, not really.
Jen & Brad are divorced... Why the would Brad have to call his Ex to Inform her that he's having a baby with his new partner. That Is just so stupid!
Maybe because we all secretly hope we're eventually the man she'll steal.
It's ridicoulous to say that someone can steal your man or woman.
If your partner decides to go with someone else It's on their own, not because the other person stole them.

I really like Vince Vaughn and I hope that he and Jen can create a wonderful, happy and long-lasting relationship.
I think Brad should have called Jennifer - even if only out of respect for the time they shared together.
