what about one for wednesday's usc/ucla game?
Arkansas(12-4, 1-2) @ Alabama (9-6, 2-1) on Wednesday.
Bama had a huge win @ Kentucky but several ugly losses and are a very streaky team. Arkansas looked strong until dropping the first 2 conference games of the year.
In football, Arkansas' rival is LSU. In basketball it's Alabama and Kentucky.
Last 4 meetings:
Tide 72, Hogs 63
Tide 64, Hogs 61
Tide 72, Hogs 68
Tide 81, Hogs 65
Bama key victories:
- @Kentucky
- @Auburn
Bama key losses:
- Memphis
- ND
- @Temple
- NC State
- @Oklahoma
- @Ole Miss
Hogs key victories:
- @Kansas
- Vanderbilt
Hogs key losses (all four):
- @UConn
- @Maryland
- @Miss. St.
- LSU
Kori hopefully this is enough information to pursuade you and draw intrest. Should be a great game and experts are divided. I reccommend the vbookie be cut even @ 2-1 for both a Bama or Hog win and no "less than" figure due to Arkansas' woes vrs Bama.
Ya theres another rivalry game, I bet she does both though.
Bru...did you see where that QB Mustain committed to the Hogs?
Well, all of us in Arkansas had "breaking news" reports on TV and the popular rock and rap stations.
Most Arkansas fans are just, really into it too much. It was Mitch this Mitch that on hogville.net forums and everyone really became tired of it. It was actually pretty stressful, having the best High School QB and HS player of the year playing games with your school.
This is cliche but I had the feeling he would sign for a while. His coach and awesome one at that was hired as the offensive cooridnator, finally. That ultimately cealed the deal in my mind. It's very exciting to say the least.
On top of it, we have a top 5 in the country sophmore in Darren McFadden, who broke records at Arkansas in his first year along with some SEC ones as well for a freshman. So the offense looks simply beautiful for the next few years as our offensive line was already strong we just didn't have any playmakers but Darren mostly. No doubt the SEC is looking at us to get back to the national powerhouse level we were so used to for so many years back in the day.
Anyways, pretty thrilled about Mitch. I think he will turn heads as a freshman beacause he is so damn smart with the ball and doesn't force it really at all. He was well coached and now that Arkansas has a playcaller on the sidelines for the first time in almost a decade things will turn around.
In the end, we're looking to remain above A&M and get closer to Texas in prestege overall. Hehe. Used to that was never a problem.
Yeah, Texas is just out of reach right now though. Hog fans are still pissed they turned down more series, but at least you guys agreed to play some beeball for the next 4 years.
USC is going to get another wakeup call on the Hill in September and frankly Hog fans can't wait.
The game is in 7 hours.
I'll remember this!
