All other TNT games are "TNT NBA Thursday" where Stein shuts down all other NBA games so only TNT is showing NBA on Thu.
this is very simple. Shaq and Kobe are facing each other. They do this twice every year. First time, everybody can watch it. Second time, it's exclusively on tnt.
It's not a thursday, but that doesn't matter cuz of the kobe shaq factor.
And they always show 2 games, and considering the Spurs game is the only game on at 8'clock eastern time, no choice but to show the spurs.
I'll bet it's because it's MLK day. Never heard of Monday TNT otherwise.

Speaking of watching the Spurs, does anyone have any clue when the NBA League Pass price will go down? I don't want to pay full price for roughly half a season, but it looks like I will be stuck up here in Jersey till at least the first round of the playoffs, and I don't want to miss the rest of the season.
I bet the half-price won't come into effect until 1 March, IIRC.
I think I remember noting last year that it was half-price but for less that half a season.

Since I have NBA TV and the Spurs are sometimes the featured nightly game, I may decide not to give my money to the cheap bastages for League Pass. Not really sure yet. I was in SA at the start of the season so didn't need to buy the entire package.
Oh, and yes, the Spurs tend to embarass themselves on national television at least 3x a year it seems. I remember being at a game on a Silver Saturday that was nationally televised- the 76ers sans AI, and Spurs got spanked. It was brutal, Timmy's missed FT's weren't even close, the loudest cheer the whole afternoon was when he actually made one. It was brutal, the crowd was never in it and I am sure it looked worse on TV.
Luckily we are not playing the Pistons or the Mavs.

If the Spurs play like they did Sat night @at&t, I don't like their chances @Fedex. Spurs will really have to step it up to get a W tonight.
