    rebounding.

our team is good enough to win with poor ft shooting, we have done it for years. but if we dont rebound its going to be over real quick.

As has been pointed out numerous times our rebounding totals and averages havent changed all that much from last year. Free throws cost us half of our losses every year.

Our rebounding seems to only need a lot of work against the Pistons, for some reason. Like someone else said, I don't think our rebounding this season is that much diff from years past. Same for FT shooting...I've given up hope that the Spurs will become a 75% FT shooting team. Our defense has been pretty good as of late...including the Pistons games.

That leaves our three point shooting and turnovers. I'd like to see Finley, NVE, Barry, and even Horry hit more shots from the outside. Turnovers...Parker and Duncan (suprisingly, not really Manu) have been crazy with them!! I think we had like 10 in the first quarter alone against the Nets, which is what kept them in the game, despite the Spurs shooting 50+% and the Nets 35%.

I have come to accept the free throw shooting so I almost said rebounding since we have been trashed on the boards a couple times this year.

But lets be real, this FT crap has got to get better some day. I just don't get how these guys are so terrible at them. I can run lines for 20 min. and hit 7 out of 10 every time, and nobody is paying me millions. Time to make some in FTs.

I went with the FT shooting as well, only as it seems when Spurs making them they get aggressive in all areas, esp. Duncan.

Hmm...I see "Defense" as a choice...but, not offense?

Offensive team play is our weakest point, imho.

Followed closely by rebounding, of course

I think our trouble rebounding lately has to do with our lack of aggressiveness. I'm not saying it doesn't need to improve, but we were not a very good rebounding team last year, we are actually running at about the same clip too. And considering we have the best shooting % in the L, and our defense is not as good as it was last year, there are less oppurtunities to rebound. We are +1.2 this year, and we were +2.2 last year.
Overall in the playoffs we were +2.8 even though we sacrificed offensive rebounds so that we could back in the transition D.
