does that mean we're tryin to get his value up so we can get more?
Nazr getting more than token minutes.
Discuss.

Nazr actually rotating on defense. See my "Mark it down" thread.
I think your mark it down thread jives with my argument in the Nazr thread about the fact if they gave him more than 30 seconds a game he'd probably look good once he got in the flow.
Did Malik get more than "token" minutes before he was traded?
I would like to get L. Wright. I have always liked him for some reason. I would like a Nazr for Wright trade. It would work out well for both. Wright would be a great fit (that is IF he gets time!) and Naz would get to play for a team where he would actually get some PT!
But Nazr is playing very well right now. So if SA isnt getting ready for a trade, I hope this will help Nazr earn some more PT.
No, but can you blame the Spurs? If they actually played him Isiah might have woken up.Did Malik get more than "token" minutes before he was traded?![]()
hmmm so by the Malik theory Rasho must be the on getting traded since he's been on the bench most of this game! Hmmmm
we should do rasho for chris bosh plus draft picks
True...
Good god.....I would like to get L. Wright
In stud poker, some cards are up and some are down. Malik was defintely "down" card material.![]()
Yeah, thats gonna happen....we should do rasho for chris bosh plus draft picks
Hey, for some reason I like Wright. Dunno why, just always have.
Hmmm ... I think Nazr's value (as well as Rasho's) is set in stone. Neither will go up or down, period.
Well, we're still getting beat on the boards.
Maybe we're going to trade AHF for a bucket of warm piss.
You know, I watch Haslem on Miami rebound the ball and hit 15 footers with regularity and I think what might have been. Didn't we cut him from our summer league team? Wish we could have a do-over on that one.
Malik was Gregg's BI-HOTCH...so...no, but he made a uva Philly Cheese Steak
All of our Forwards/Centers played like crap.
I would like to see them get any 7 footer that is able to bend there knees and elbows every now and then.
Timmy sits an extra 10 minutes because of fouls. End of discussion.
Nazr appears to have been in the doghouse since the pre-season.
It might be one of those situations where he and the Spurs are better off not being on the same team.
I don't see the Spurs beating the Pistons if the best thing we can offer up in the middle is Rasho Nesterovic.
I concur that I think his minutes were up today because of Duncan only playing 33 minutes, but look at this.
Can't recall any specific reasons from last year that Malik's minutes varied, Injury? In and out of dog house? Played better?
Malik was traded after 2/23/05, Here is a breakdown of his minutes from 1/2/05 to that time.

You can definately tell when the trade negotiations started, died down, started again, died down again, then started again when Isiah started getting an itchy trigger finger right before the trade deadline.

OK just to be sure:
'Player A' is going to get traded when he plays a lot.
malik's last nail in the coffin was the jersey over the head while the other team went on a fast break. i forget which game that was, but i knew years of waiting for the spurs to trade him were over!
