If you didn't like the movies Lord of the Rings, please list your reasons why.

I thought part 1 sucked, part 2 and 3 were cool, but 3 was a little too long.

What are your reasons for liking the movies if you liked them?

and the acton scene in clone wars was top notch...otherwise? yeah...they sucked.

Really? I LOVE those movies. I bought part 1 before even seeing it and instantly loved it. Then I had to go out and buy 2 right away then that same weekend we saw 3 in the theater. The entire family loves LOTR.

I liked watching them for the first time. But I could never watch them again. Too long/boring. Also, what I liked the most was the special effects, and I could only get that in the theaters, not on my Tv.

On a different note, my dad downloaded Russian Lord of the Rings. (Which is basically the movies with a Russian overdub.) Pretty much the whole movie is based on being drunk and is about vodka. Remember when (I think the second movie) had a King who was poisoned. WEll, in the Russian version, he was just drunk all the time. And he put his son into prison because he didn't like drinking. And the punishment was to be drunk all day long all the time. Now that was some funny stuff

Some bull reasons I can think of right off the bat

1. no ing mention or sign of Tom Bombadil, I read the books and loved that and not to mention it stunk... it!

2. ing Elves coming to aid at The battle of Helm's Deep. that never happened!!!

3. Frodo was made out to be such a pussy in the films!!! he wasn't in the books!

My nephew tried to get me to watch the first one. After 30 minutes, I was sound asleep. Never bothered with 2 or 3.
