Oh so on the new stuff he is kinda back to the Mase of old. Awsome Im gonna have to check that. The last album had some good beats but the raps were just weak w/o the cursing and .
So why the change? He saw no money in positive rap, right?
If you ask me Bad Boy has gone to the ter, but Puffy, P diddy, Diddy, Sean (whatever he is calling himself these days) will always find a way to make money.
most likely G-Unit is pretty big now with the signing of Mobb Deep, and now Ma$e.....he is all the way back not just kinda....his whole song he was mother this, and es that...and im a rich mother er
The person who comes to mind with success in positive or no cursing rap is Will Smith.
I guess Puff Daddy is concerning himself with his clothing line and he is forgetting how he made his cash in the first place. Either way, I've always thought he sucked as a rapper. I even thought B.I.G. was overrated.

will smith's rap game isnt what made him successfull though...he is more like a pop artist but "switch" was a tight ass song...he got rich from acting........oh and yeah i hated B.I.G. and Diddy....im more of a Tupac person myself
Even so he was able to do it for a long time and be pretty successful doing it. I give him some credit he marketed himself well.

I respect Will Smith for making the switch from comedic rapper to actor. He is smart to target the demographic that he does. My cousin doesn't let her kids listen to any rap besides him and I'm sure there are lots of other people that feel the same way and he gets paid off of all of them.
I didnt really hate BIG, but I have always favored Tupac he was a true rap artist.
